Suffering Bringing Glorification

All throughout time, a girl stands distant from the group.

Never uttering a word unless necessary. 

“You are so quiet. Is there anything wrong?”

“Why are you so shy in public?”

“People are going to think you are a stuck up sooner or later.”

“I was not expecting you to be this quiet,” says an online friend.

But she never really tells the full truth to the questions.

She hides everything she possibly can from anyone and everyone. 

“You tend to hide your feelings too much. It is okay to express them,” her father said while hugging her. 

But she conceals from expressing the truth,

afraid that she will soon bother someone with her problems. 

No matter what they say. 

“I think I should go for a while,” she texts slowly. 

“But why?” Her only friend asks.

“Because I’m lost in situations that only God can make straight.” 

“Promise me that you will not do anything.”

She looks around, and then sighs, “I won’t. I just need to clear my life up.”

“Okay, thank you. Goodnight!” Her friend signs off. 

She has prayed to God night after night,

with a burst of hope that everything will change in the morning,

but as she arises upon dawn, she finds herself stuck in the same place. 

There seem to come a time a day where she feels better, 

but it is only a passing thing, a thing that will soon fade away. 

The bleak winter days soon begin to remind her of everything. 

Everything that has happened in the past and present. 

She soon begins to look at her future, wondering what it will bring.

She compares herself to people smarter than her and ponders how she will ever make a living in her present circumstances. 

She dwells on the teachings of David in Psalm 34, 

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. 

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, 

but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” 

She clings closely to God, knowing that He is her stronghold, 

but she also knows that these things must happen for a cause. 

Everything that is bringing her eyes down into darkness, 

every situation will soon erase from her burdened heart,

every tear will soon be cleared away with gleeful ones, 

and everything will soon come together as it should, 

and someday, it will bring glorification to her,

because what is glorification without suffering?

Gah, I'm so sorry I haven't posted anything... *sighs* I'm a horrible blogger. 

Anyway, I wrote this personally, so I hoped you enjoyed it. :) 

A Glass Heart

Her voice is like a beautiful masterpiece,

each note is like a violin on its strings.

Her face is like a sheer veil of powder,

delicate and pale it is when you see it.

Her eyes are like dark blue diamonds,

almost like sapphires.

Her heart...is like a glass heart,

crushed, and now shattered.

Carefully, one must pick up the speckles 

of  fractured, now wounded heart.

From Me, To You

This is a letter from me, to you.

Something I thought I would never do, 

Suddenly has been becoming true.

I'm watching and directing my own fantasy world,

I never know the touch- the feeling of my fictional friends.

But in the end, my imagination is only a thought

that is scribbled down on paper with a pen.

Maybe

She stood there, trying to work up the courage,

the courage that seemed like always rejected her.

Maybe she could walk up to him,

But maybe she couldn't.

Maybe the unsureness of these thoughts

would one day go away,

But maybe they wouldn't.

What if she never met him,

the lad that sang to strangers everyday?

Maybe it'll happen someday,

but not today.

Rainy Days

It was a gloomy rainy day and the coldness that had managed to force its way into the old apartment cracks sunk deep into the young apartment owner's bones. But my, my, my a smell so strong filled the cool atmosphere. If you were to step in, your nostrils would immediately sense the homemade apple syrup that had slowly found a way to an opening to leak its way out onto the cookie sheet. 

Quietly, a black cat saw on one windowsill watching the raindrops trickle down the fogged glass, only to come to a halt when it reached the bottom of the window. 

"Harry?" The girl hummed. 

The cat turned his white blotched head, knowing its call of her sweet master's voice, to see her friend lift her up into her pale arms. 

"The apple pie's done, would you like to share it with me and sitting by the window?"

He began licking her hand in hopes she'd pet him while she was at it.

"Yes, yes. I shall pet you while we eat too." She grinned lightly.

I couldn't resist, it's a gloomy day where I live and my mom's making apple pies for our company that's coming over soon, so I took the chance to write something up. I hope you liked it! :) 

I Told Her

I told her that everything would be okay.

I told her that I would erase the dull colors 

so that the world wouldn't seem so grey.

I told her I would do anything to see

her laugh everyday.

And yet, she left me in this place.

Pale her face was lying in that case.

And now I'm sitting here all alone,

without her. Oh, the world seems so lonely.

What am I to do? Without her presence in this place.

I told her that everything would be okay.

But reality came, and she's not fine.

I told her I would never leave her side,

but yet, she left mine. 

Oh, my broken and lonely soul.

A: North Pole because I think it's prettier (by what pictures say).

A: bubble, all the way because mint gives me a headache.

A: how am I? Well.. I think. I slept well, so I guess I'm great!

A: yes, I do! I'm that type of person that can't stand having their feet being cold, so naturally, socks come in handy.

A: applesauce? *Strokes mustache* I think it taste pretty spiffy, but I can't stand it when you get part of the apple skin. Blech. >.<

Hello my little munchkins! I hope you've been having a magnificent summer, I know I have and I hope that yours has been just as better. 

I have a little explaining to do here, so bear with me for a few more sentences. Due to my summer vacation, I haven't been able to do any awards that you (guys) have nominated me for, and my comment feed is full of you telling me so, so I haven't been ignoring you, I'm just sort of busy to stop and do these awards, if you know what I mean. In that case, I'm left with a lot of them do write about and don't get me wrong, I feel very honored to have you guys award me, but these things are time consuming- literally (okay, maybe it's just me whose always staring at the screen for 5 minutes trying to think of what to put). With that being said, I have been thinking/planning to just not do those, but in the future, if I can, I shall try my best to do every-single-one-of-them, no promises though. Hopefully, this will lead me to being more active with you and my blog! Sound good? I hope so. 

Not the Regular Type

Hey guys! Sorry for my unexpected blogging break there... I'm not sure what happened myself, but I just want to let you know that this will be first and last post for July. The reason is because my family and I are going out West for almost 3 weeks, so I won't be with internet until we get back home. Also, I want to thank everyone who awarded me recently, I'm unable to do them, unfortunately, but I just want to say that I love you guys and think it's amazing that you even think of me when you award me. Of course, thank you to my new followers, I just love you guys to death. ●.● ❥

And now on with the regular post.

Music Is

Music.

Music is an escape for some.

Some for pleasures. 

Music is a thing that brings back memories.

Both the beautiful and unpleasant ones.

But overall, I guess music is just a thing that can speak to someone 

and say what they've been wanting to say, but never could find 

the courage or words to say it.

That, is what I think music is.

Now, for Sarah's questions: 

1. Which fictional character relates/speaks to you the most?

That question is something for me to really think about, I mean, I have favorite fictional characters, but I've never really given the thought of which one relates/speaks to me the most. But I guess if I had to choose it'd be Bilbo Baggins because I'm just sort of that type that wants to stay home and basically do nothing, but then there's that part of me that wants to go on an adventure, you know? 
2. What lyric from a song describes you the most? (Or song, if that's too vague.)

Um, I literally have not got a clue... oh! I know. Flashlight by Hunter Hayes. The whole reason why is because he talks about becoming a Christian and how God keeps us from falling and stuff. 
3.  Whose character change is your favorite? ( Like how Elsa found her strength and became the girl she is.) 

Pippin Took! At the beginning of LotR's, he's considered as the "stupid one" and always getting into trouble, but then at the end of the book/movies, he's grown up in both his height ;), and wisdom. 

4. Has any kind of book or story made you realize something or changed your opinion about something?

Wow, that's probably the most hardest question ever. But yes, I have had those books/stories... I just can't currently remember what stories they were. 
5. Which character death made you the most sad?

Let's sese... Frodo, Bilbo, Gandalf, and more that I just can't stand to mention... :(
6. What is your favorite message in a Disney movie and why?

My favorite would have to be Frozen's message. It talks about how love is putting people in front of yourself, and to me, that's pretty darn good for a Disney movie! 
7. Favorite song from a Disney musical and why?

Love Is An Open Door from Frozen. It just makes me so happy and giggly, despite that Hans is a bad guy... it just sort of has that beat and tone where you can't be sad anymore. 
8. Favorite lyric from a Disney musical song and why? 

In truth, I'm not into the Disney songs... I know a big gasp, but I only like the Frozen soundtrack... so I'm not really sure how to answer that.
9. What are your two favorite songs from Frozen? (Because 'Let it Go' is a number one choice.)

Um... *thinks* my first favorite would have to be Frozen Heart, you know, the one that they sing where we all thought we were watching the wrong movie, and Love Is An Open Door. :-)

10. If you could make a sequel to any Disney movie, which one would it be?

Frozen. Because I want to see Kristoff and Anna again... he he he... xD

First of all, I want to thank, Celia for tagging me in not one, but two awards. It means so much when you guys think of me, but I can't seem to find the time write up all the process of doing it, it takes a lot of time out of my small hour days. >.<

My eyes were sealed shut when I was trapped inside all day. 

Then, I stepped outside one day, a breeze sent my hair flying, rays of warm sunshine gleamed down on me, and my eyes were open.

And that's when I realized that summer was here.

I'm seriously so excited for summer, like, where I live it's getting so warm and beautiful that I couldn't ask for anything more than this. 

Once Upon a Time...

Once upon a time,

A girl who had sapphirey eyes

stared into a different world.

A world where she sat in London,

a world where "hello's" came from

most known faces of reality.

A world where online friends

could meet without an end.

Through the screen she typed,

never wanting to leave,

but people searched for her,

and deep down within she heard them,

and so, she left, leaving that world once again.

I had originally wrote this for Rose's Who Am I? challenge thing, but then I decided it wasn't the greatest because it doesn't really describe who I am, it just describes my life in my head world and stuff. Can you just imagine driving out in the middle of nowhere with no fears of someone following you? I can imagine myself sitting in the passenger's side of a small car looking out the window and listening to a slow beat song, and pretending that I was in a music video. 

And then, suddenly, you see a shooting star. Without a second glace you instantly look over and a smile tugs on the corners of your lips. 

And little do you know, your partner is in awe with you while you gaze at the midnight sky.

Where to Miss?

I'm still persuaded that this is the train that 1D used for their photo shoot a while back. You know, the one during TMH and Nialler is standing inside a train? Yeah, that one.

"Miss?" A young conductor asked softly, gently tapping my shoulder to awake me,

"You've been asleep for a while... but I didn't have the courage to wake you."

I smiled. A yawn suddenly escaped my lips,

"I'm sorry if I've delayed anything..." I apologized.

"Nah, the station's closed, and we're done for the day. Everyone's left, but I knew you were in here... I didn't want to 'wake you. You looked so peaceful..." 

I looked down, feeling my cheeks warm up. How many guys my age notice things like that? 

"Where ya headin', miss? I could give you a ride since everything around here's closed. That is, if you don't mind."

I looked out the tinted window and wondered. 

"To the stars..." 

He chuckled, "I'd take you there if I could, but I can only catch them, not take people there..."

He then held out his hand, 

"but I can offer you a ride to a hillside painted with more stars than you can imagine."

Lately...

Lately I've been thinking... probably more than I should be.

Lately I've been thinking about someone who I've never met. 

Lately I've been wanting to just listen to slow music and read.

Lately... I've been wishing that life wouldn't be going so fast as it has been.

Lately I've been thinking about who blessed I am to be living in this big world. 

Lately, I've been wondering about my life in the future.

Lately... my mind has been nothing but confusion. 

But today I've realized... each second is my life, and I can accomplish so many things in such small time. Today is where I am. Not another time. Or story. Just today.
